Exploration works on Sakami property

The surface exploration program initiated last week on the JR Sector of the Sakami property has confirmed the presence of a large sulphidized formation at surface through a series of shallow pits and sampling. The area is covered by about one meter of overburden. The formation was discovered last year by geophysics survey and later confirmed by a short diamond drill hole that returned an intersection of 2.03 g/t Gold over 6 meters in a wider mineralized zone. The imprint of the strong coincident magnetic, and IP geophysical anomalies is 500 meters long by 100 meters wide. The 85 pit samples taken so far cover about 200 meters of strike length. All pits (up to 6 meters by 7 meters) have revealed pervasive sulphide mineralization. The anomaly is located within the Deformation Corridor of the Sakami Break. Surface sampling during the last exploration season had returned values of up to 9 g/t gold on various showings in the JR Sector, at a distance from the potentially important geophysical anomaly presently under investigation. Assay results will be published as they become available.
