Raynald Vezina Joins the Matamec Team
Matamec Explorations Inc. ("Matamec") is proud to announce the nomination of M. Raynald Vezina for the position of independent director on the Board of directors. M. Vezina will replace M. Jean Lavallee who left the board on October 5th 2004. Until very recently, M. Vezina was first Vice-president Canada for Cambior where he worked for 16 years. He graduated at Laval University in 1970. He worked in the mining industry as a mining engineer for 34 years during which he participated, among others, to the start up of the Corbet and Kiena mines of Falconbridge. Recognized as a highly implicated person and of great integrity, he was very active within the Quebec Mining Association of which he was a member of the Board for 15 years and president for a one-year term. In accordance with the internal policies of the Company, M.Vezina was allocated 400,000 Matamec stock option shares at $0.09 per share at the October 27th Board of directors meeting.
